between the sheets: sketchbook series
For the past decade I’ve created thousands of sketches across piles of notebooks and whatever I could find to draw on. During the pandemic I started a daily sketchbook practice where I painted a different portrait every day of the year. Each month I would create a different series in a different book. I found the process to be so stimulating that I decided to continue creating a monthly series of paintings each month.
